San Remigio is haven for those who seek serenity and calm. it is a third class municipality with a little over 51,000 residents based on the 2010 national census and some 35,000 registered voters. Municipality of San Remegio aims to improve the quality of life of the residence through healthy lifestyle and other programs and to give opportunity to the residence to learn new culture and interact with foreign nationals.
