Mòvesi APS (www.movesi.org) is an organization dedicated to fostering human and ecosystem regeneration processes in the inner areas of Southern Italy at risk of depopulation. Operating mainly in the Salerno area, it stands out for its use of permaculture methodologies, non-formal education, and its mission to promote a culture of inclusion and hospitality, also through international mobility opportunities.
The aim of the project is to create a natural swimming pond that enhances both biodiversity and the usability of a space envisioned as a community hub—a place for agricultural and cultural production, where good practices inspired by permaculture, biophilia, and ecosophy can be explored and shared.
İş Tanımı
During the camp, volunteers will work on the construction of a natural swimming pond. The activities will include a shared design phase and, more substantially, manual work: transporting stones and building a dry-stone retaining wall, restoring the existing pool walls, creating a filtration area, waterproofing, and installing aquatic and wetland plants for phytoremediation.
The working time will be five hours per day.

Volunteers will be hosted in Buccino and Caggiano (SA), 15 km apart. In Buccino, they'll stay in a shared house with 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, common area, and garden—possibly with volunteers from other projects. In Caggiano, accommodation will be in tents on a farm where activities take place. The farm has a house with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen for volunteer use and is 3 km from the town center.

The camp will take place between the towns of Buccino and Caggiano, two small villages about 15 km apart, in the Campania region, in the province of Salerno.

Wi-Fi is available at the accommodation, and mobile coverage is guaranteed for all Italian carriers.
The nearest town is 3 km away and offers all essential services.
Clothing: Work clothes and sturdy footwear are recommended. If participants own personal protective equipment (helmet, goggles, gloves, dust masks), they are encouraged to bring it. If not, the host organization will provide it.
Days are generally hot, but nights can be cold, so bring clothing suitable for all weather conditions. Sleeping bags, flashlights, water bottles, and other small camping gear will help ensure a comfortable stay in a tent.
