Community and Voluntary service (CVS-Najitolea) is one of the UVIKIUTA’s program dedicated to engage youth and volunteers from various backgrounds aiming to share life together while providing service to the community. The program connects people from around the world with local projects and communities in Tanzania. It offers a powerful vision built on our belief that volunteers have a vital role to play in development and in building a more just and sustainable world society. The program would not be able to rich out targeted population all over the world without our dedicated volunteers, like Social-media support who provide their time and bring multitude of skills and knowledge. In return, we offer learning and development opportunities, valuable insight into International voluntary service movement and a friendly environment to meet new people. Social-media support in this team is an important role to bring this program to the reality.

o Content Planning: Collaborate with the team to develop a social media content strategy that aligns with our mission and goals.
o Content Creation: Create visually appealing and engaging content, including graphics, images, videos, and written posts.
o Content Scheduling: Manage the social media content calendar and schedule posts across various platforms.
o Social Platform Management: Monitor and maintain our social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others. Social Media Platform Engagement: Interact with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful connections.
o Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns to promote our community projects, voluntary services and fundraising efforts.
Konaklama ve Yemek
Accommodation will be at the host families in the eco-village. Basic accommodation facilities like water, electricity and toilets will be available. Expect to share room with other volunteer or family member of the same gender. Food will be provided with the host family. Volunteers with special dietary requirements are encourage to inform us in advance. Volunteers are expected not to be guest but part of the family, engaging and participate in house chaos and other social activities happening in the family.

Chamazi is an urban and multicultural community located about 25km from Julius Nyerere International airport, Dar es Salaam and about the same distance from Dar es Salaam city Centre. A good number of social services are available including mobile phone signals, financial and shopping centers, etc. All this makes this community attractive and accessible for people to live, work and visit. Public and private transport are available 24/7. Location of Chamazi community provides access to various leisure activities. There is a sports complex, clubs and entertainment centers nearby. Been in this community you have also access to City tour, visiting museums and historical site, a day tour to Bongoyo Island, Swimming and water related relaxation in Bagamoyo or Zanzibar.
