This year, we are collaborating with the Citizen s Council of Anuradapura to organize this project. This esteemed organization is dedicated to promoting peace, fostering national integration, and advocating for equal rights for all. In addition, they actively conduct various awareness programs and provide community services to support individuals who would otherwise struggle to access them.
İş Tanımı
We will collaborate with families who rely on agriculture for their livelihood. As this is the planting season, we will join them in their preparations and work alongside them. After four days of agricultural work, we will visit a village youth group, members of the women s group, and a local school.During these visits, volunteers will share their stories about their lives, families, and countries, offering the locals an opportunity to learn about different cultures and perspectives. This exchange not only broadens horizons but also inspires the community to envision new possibilities for their lives.

The host mother will prepare meals for you, ensuring a taste of local home-cooked cuisine. The home is equipped with essential facilities, including electricity, purified drinking water, a shower, and toilet amenities. However, telecommunication is limited, with no internet or mobile data access, providing a perfect opportunity to disconnect and immerse yourself in the surroundings.Laundry is done by hand, with clothes left to dry outdoors, and toilet paper can use here.
