Rewilding and maintenance of hand-made dams/barrages in swamp areas, as well as mowing/grass cutting by hand in meadow areas. All areas of work are first fully taught to volunteers and constantly supervised by camp organiser representatives. In addition, a climate-themed art workshop will be held during the camp.

Joint accommodation in the Keuruu Ecovillage area. Vegetarian/vegan-based meals during the camp time. Volunteers will either need to bring their own bedsheets (pillowcase, sheet or mummy linen, duvet/quilt cover) OR they can rent a set from Ecovillage housing society for the price of 5 €/visit. Volunteers will participate in cooking their own food.

In the Ecovillage there are lots of free time opportunities, such as swimming and playing sports.

The nearest big city is Jyväskylä (distance approx 60 km), which has good public transport links (buses, trains) to other major cities. We recommend sustainable travel, and trust that the impact of our travels is a shared concern. If you can, please prefer more eco-friendly options (e.g. train or bus rather than plane).

Keuruu and its surrounding nature sites in Central Finland. Wetland areas/swamps are located in the area of Pihlajavesi (transfer by shared camp car during worktimes).
