In Queyssac, a small village in the Périgord Pourpre region near Bergerac, the Ribambelle Association has been running a vibrant cultural venue for many years. The site hosts dance workshops, live performances, artistic residencies, cultural events, and numerous activities that promote social inclusion, creativity, and community engagement. Through this international workcamp, volunteers will contribute to the improvement and enhancement of this important community space. The project is part of a sustainable development approach, promoting the use of natural materials and eco-construction techniques.
For two weeks, volunteers will share the daily life of the association, meet local residents and volunteers, participate in community events, and discover the cultural richness of the region. A welcome gathering organised by Ribambelle will offer an opportunity to meet local stakeholders, while an intercultural evening open to local residents will take place at the end of the project.

Volunteers will take part in the ecological renovation of the building used for dance workshops and cultural activities. The interior walls, currently covered with wooden panels, will be prepared and coated with clay-based plaster to improve the quality of the building while meeting public access standards.
Guided by a technical supervisor, participants will learn various eco-construction techniques, including surface preparation, mixing natural materials, applying earth plaster, and finishing work. This project offers a unique opportunity to acquire practical skills while contributing to a meaningful collective initiative benefiting the local community.
Konaklama ve Yemek
You will be accommodated at the Sem&Vol International Centre in Cause-de-Clérans (24150), in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre countryside. Accommodation will be provided in tents or in the centre's facilities depending on availability. Please bring a sleeping bag and a pillow.
A shared kitchen and dining area will be available. Volunteers will prepare meals together on a rotating basis, taking into account everyone's tastes, dietary needs, and the pleasure of sharing recipes from around the world. Don't forget to bring your favourite recipe!

Location:
The workcamp takes place in Queyssac (24140), Dordogne, near Bergerac. Accommodation is located in Cause-de-Clérans (24150), in a peaceful rural setting that encourages intercultural exchange and community life.
Leisure Activities:
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to take part in cultural events organised by Ribambelle and other local associations, discover Bergerac and the picturesque villages of the Périgord Pourpre region, enjoy local markets, swimming spots, hiking trails, and many summer festivities. Together with the other volunteers and camp leaders, you will also help create your own leisure programme.
