JNMCC Mercy Home is a children's residence housing about 47 children while they go to different schools. The home is supported by the Mercy Homes Foundation which pays school fees for children I secondary schools. It admits school-going children from the age of 6 to 18 years. During the day all the children go to school, therefore activities that involve children are only available during evenings and in school holidays.
The home started as family children's home in the year 1998 by the founder with the aim of helping vulnerable children, orphans, neglected and street children. The project provides these children with education, health care, clothing, shelter, protection and guidance and counseling. There are 5 employees to take care of the children. Most of the children are girls.

The volunteer will be accommodated at the project and food will be provided. This project will host volunteers only during school holidays when children are available on full-time.
