FSL-India, (Field Services and Inter-cultural Learning - India) is a youth development organization focused towards Inter-cultural Learning through Voluntary Services set up to promote Global Understanding by providing opportunities to the youth to work in different cultural contexts to appreciate Inter-cultural learning. Thereby, reducing boundaries and bringing people to work together in harmony by understanding the Inter-cultural aspects focusing towards development of people and society through youth mobility and volunteerism. Founded in the year 2000 and legally incorporated in 2001, FSL-India is a Trust under Indian Trust Act 1882. It was formed with the support of like-minded National and International Organizations with a primary purpose to bring about global transformation, progress and growth through youth exchange programs. FSL-India is headquartered in Bangalore, with regional offices in Karnataka (Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore and Kundapur) and Pondicherry and is well equipped with experienced associates who support developmental activities across the country with the help of Local and Regional Partners. Annually, FSL- Indi a mobilizes movement of 500 and more youths from across the globe with the support of International Partners and local NGOs.

This National Park is in the western part of the Himalayan Mountains in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh is characterized by high alpine peaks, alpine meadows and riverine forests. The 90,540 ha property includes the upper mountain glacial and snow meltwater sources of several rivers, and the catchments of water supplies that are vital to millions of down stream users. The GHNPCA protects the monsoon-affected forests and alpine meadows of the Himalayan front ranges. GHNP was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2014, in recognition of its outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation. The park protects over 1,000 plant species, including many medicinal herbs, 31 mammal species and 209 bird species, as well as amphibians, reptiles and insects.
The Camp:
The camp will focus on the volunteers to understand the social and cultural aspects of the community they work. The volunteers will be given experience through interactions, workshops exchange of ideas, need analysis with the support of team leader, planning and be a part of completing the scheduled work with the group of volunteers for the benefit of the community and a
learning experience for the volunteers.
The camp will consist of community service, Learning, Culture and evaluation.
Activities:
1. Interactions with ASI and Local communities to address and understand their need and social challenges
2. Creating awareness to Community, College Students and School children on Natural Heritage Conservation
3. Involving in community, GHNP officials and College Students on Tree Plantation
4. Teaching children on Natural Heritage
5. Implementation of SDG’s activities at Schools and Community
6. Involving in mural painting on Natural Heritage conservation at a Public place
7. Involving in clean-up drive along with community
8. Intercultural activities

Accommodation: At a rented guest house or hostel, with shared rooms
Food: North Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Safe, filtered water is available for drinking
