Just a short walk from the village, at the edge of a forest, lies a picturesque setting where you will work for about 6 hours a day. The goal of this workcamp is to rebuild a wall that is at risk of collapsing. This task is essential for enhancing and securing this site, which has tourist potential. You will learn traditional dry stone masonry techniques. No prior experience is required! You will work as a team and also participate in daily collective tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, and activities with the local population.

You will be accommodated in a mixed-gender large shared tent for eight people, where bunk beds with mattresses will be set up. You will also have access to a communal building with a new kitchen. Showers and washing machines will be available at the locals' homes, who always show great hospitality! However, a shower in the communal building is available at any time. Wi-Fi is available at the municipal building, which is just a short walk from the campsite. You will only need to bring your sleeping bag and pillow.
A 15-minute walk through the forest will be necessary to reach the worksite, where dry toilets will be specially installed. For other transportation, the local residents will be happy to help with shopping or guide you on visits to nearby areas.
Accompanied by the leaders, you will prepare the menus based on a budget (around 5€ per day per person) and take turns cooking daily meals. Vegetarian/vegan options will be available. In this village, you will be invited several times to eat at the locals' homes, another way to discover regional culinary specialties while sharing special moments together.

Whether in the afternoon or on weekends, your group will organize leisure activities. The interests of everyone, local opportunities (the village farm, craft brewery, Oricourt Castle, summer concerts, hiking, etc.), and the available budget will influence your choices.

No special requirements. Please note that in the villages of Haute-Saône, English is not widely spoken, but we always find creative ways to communicate! You can also rely on the leaders to assist you. The workcamp requires lifting stones. To get there, you will need to walk through the forest for about 15 minutes on a slight incline.
