Konaklama ve Yemek
Volunteers will be accommodated in shared housing located in Kampot, Kampong Speu, Siem Reap, or Battambang, depending on their project placement. Each volunteer house offers basic but comfortable amenities, including shared bedrooms, clean bathrooms, communal dining and kitchen areas, and access to electricity and Wi-Fi (where available). The housing is situated close to project sites or within local communities, allowing volunteers to experience authentic Cambodian daily life. Living together with fellow volunteers also fosters cultural exchange, teamwork, and meaningful connections throughout the program. While simple, the accommodations are safe, welcoming, and well-suited to support volunteers during their service experience.
Konum ve Serbest Zaman
The Youth Service Community (YSC) program places volunteers across four diverse provinces in Cambodia—Kampot, Kampong Speu, Battambang, and Siem Reap—each offering unique cultural and leisure experiences. In Kampot, volunteers can enjoy river kayaking, cycling through pepper farms, and exploring Bokor Mountain or nearby beaches. Kampong Speu offers a rural, off-the-beaten-path charm with chances to visit waterfalls, caves, and local villages. Battambang is known for its arts scene, bamboo train rides, and historic temples, while Siem Reap—home to the iconic Angkor Wat—invites exploration of ancient ruins, cultural shows, and floating villages. On weekends or after service hours, volunteers can immerse themselves in nature, history, and authentic Cambodian life.
