Your mission: take part in the restoration and enhancement of one of the heritage landmarks of Argentine by helping to clean and restore the Tour des . .veques, located in the heart of the village cemetery, directly facing the church. Over the years, ivy and vegetation have progressively covered the tower, hiding part of its architecture and weakening certain sectionsof the structure. The aim of the project will be to bring this historic monument back to its former glory and allow both residents and visitors to rediscover this important piece of local heritage.128736;65039;The work to be carried out:The first part of the project will focus on carefully removing the ivy and vegetation currently covering large sections of the Tour des . .veques. This work will require patience, precision, and strong teamwork in order to preserve the structure while progressively revealing the original stonework beneath the vegetation.To ensure everyone s safety and provide access to the upper parts of the monument, professional scaffolding will be installed throughout the project. Participants will work in a secure environment and will be supervised by experienced leaders and technical professionals familiar with this type of restoration work.Depending on the progress of the workcamp and the condition of certain areas, small restoration and stone repair tasks may also be carried out. This could include stabilizing or repositioning damaged stones as part of the preservation and enhancement of the site. It will be a great opportunity to discover restoration techniques while actively contributing to a meaningful and visible project for the local community.This workcamp is a unique opportunity to help preserve a historic monument while living a strong collective experience in an exceptional setting in the heart of the French Alps.
