As a volunteer, you ll help bring warmth and coziness to the wooden houses of the children s eco-camp, a lively place right in the heart of the village that welcomes kids all summer long. Your tasks will include cleaning windows and floors, heating the stoves, airing out mattresses, and making up the beds to ensure everything is fresh and ready for the season. Another key part of the project is preparing the Kenozero Miniature Park for visitors. This means touching up the colorful window frames on the tiny houses and planting crops in the surrounding gardens. Joining this volunteer camp is a chance to immerse yourself in the peaceful rhythms of village life, surrounded by the pristine lakes and forests of the national park. During your stay, you ll also have the opportunity to visit museums, explore eco-trails, and take part in workshops on traditional crafts and folk arts a perfect mix of meaningful work and unforgettable experiences

The volunteer camp is based at a children s eco-camp in Maselga village. Volunteers will stay in heated wooden houses equipped with basic furniture, bedding, and towels everything you need for a cozy stay. The camp has a kitchen-dining area and two types of traditional Russian banyas (steam baths, sauna). There is no electricity, but you ll have the chance tocharge phones, laptops, and cameras from time to time. Restroom facilities are simple, eco-friendly outdoor toilets, and the banya serves as the main bathing option.Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared by volunteers themselves in the communal kitchen. All necessary kitchenware and cleaning supplies are provided, BUT you ll need to buy your own food supplies

Maselga village, Kargopol sector of Kenozero National Park. Volunteers will live and work about 7 km from Morshikhinskaya village, which has all the essential infrastructure shops, a medical center, a post office, and internet access.Mobile coverage in the National Park is provided by MegaFon, Yota, and MTS Russian telephone providers, though in Maselga itself, the signal can be quite weak.During the work, the staff will always be around and ready to provide first aid if needed. Volunteers will also have access to a first-aid kit with essential medications.For more serious concerns, there is a medical center with a healthcare professional about 7 km away.
