The City of Bayawan in Negros Oriental, Philippines has established the Bawayan City Waste Management and Ecology Center (BCWMEC) to manage its solid waste. The BCWMEC includes a materials recovery facility, composting area, sanitary landfill, and wastewater treatment facilities. Currently, 40 tons of waste is generated per day but only 30 is collected. The BCWMEC aims to increase waste diversion through recycling and composting. The city also implements a pay-as-you-throw system where residents must purchase stickers for each bag of waste collected. The Bayawan Solid Waste Management Program is a key initiative aimed at addressing waste management challenges in Bayawan City, which is located in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines. This program is part of the city s efforts to adopt sustainable waste management practices, promote environmental protection, and improve public health and hygiene through proper waste disposal and recycling systems.

The LTV 6-month program cost is Euro 2,350 and the LTV 12 months cost is Euro 3,800. The fee also covers the special volunteer visa (47a2) processing services. We charge program fees for extensions per month. We charge Euro 400 per month if below 10 months and 10 months up to 12 months, the total fee will be that of a 1-year program which Euro 3,800 is. Split fee is at Euro 450.
