BoerEnBuiten is an educational and care-oriented organization that offers groups, schools, and young people a unique experience. We work hands-on with themes such as agriculture, nature, and sustainability. Through this practical approach, children not only grow in knowledge but also in self-confidence and collaboration. We also organize camps and workshops focused on topics like food and farm life.
Our activities take place in the fields of the organic farm BoerenCompagnie, a CSA farm (Community Shared Agriculture) nestled in beautiful nature, a stone's throw from Leuven, near the Park Abbey. It's a place where learning, playing, and caring for nature come together.
BoerEnBuiten has grand plans! We dream of a new barn that not only provides a necessary upgrade but also plays an important role in our operations. The current barn has seen better days. The new barn is primarily designed for BoerEnBuiten but also for our harvest project 'Plukgeluk'. Here, we can host groups, organize workshops, and safely store materials. This project will not only enhance the educational experience but also increase our impact.
Additionally, the new barn is essential for our new branch 'green care'. With this, we offer care-oriented activities such as Rots & Water for people who benefit from a calming and natural environment. The new infrastructure enables us to work on this important mission in all weather conditions

Konaklama ve Yemek
The farm has a very nice area available for setting up your tent. Please bring your own tent as a group! Also make sure to bring an air mattress, pillow and sleeping bag as it can get rather cold in the summer in Belgium.
Meals are prepared on-site. Vegetarian options are available upon communication with the organization. A volunteer is also asked to assist the cooking team each time.

Heverlee is a town next to Leuven, which is widely known for its university. The project is located near a peaceful abbey, well-known in the area for its beautiful walking trails. With plenty of water and open fields, the abbey offers the perfect opportunity for relaxation.
The project is 2 kilometres away from the centre of Leuven. It is a possibility to visit the centre by foot, which would be a perfect evening activity.
After your workday, you can discuss with the group what you'd like to do. If you'd like to plan an evening activity with your group, this can be arranged in consultation with Bart.
