Better Tomorrow School is a community-based organization that was established in the year 2019 by Emmanuel Jonathan. The organization was started to create learning opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children in the slums. The project has a number of activities among them being an education program, feeding program, guiding and counseling, and community activities like clean-ups. They have a vision of transforming the lives of this community through education.
Since the project started, they have achieved, quality formal learning. The source of funding for the project is Emmanuel’s own contribution, friends, and a small contribution from parents. The total number of employees is 13 which includes 4 males and 9 females.

Our volunteer will be accommodated at the host family in Buruburu near the CIVS office which is 10 mins drive to the school. There is a shower and toilet in the host home. Also, there is water and electricity.
Breakfast and Dinner will be provided at the host home while lunch will be provided at the project. Only locally available foodstuffs are used for cooking.

CIVS Kenya organizes tours and safaris to spectacular sites of interest in Kenya. Volunteers, who wish to participate, should let us know as soon as possible in order to enable us to make proper arrangements. The fee charged is all-inclusive of meals, transport, park entry fees, accommodation and tour guiding. The cost of a 3 days safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve is 400 Euros in a Tour Van and 470 Euros in a Tour Jeep.
