UVIKIUTA-Chamazi Youth center is a place designated to provide youth-led and youth friendly activities in the community. Youth leadership been one of the activities is aiming to offer opportunities to young men and women in developing the ability to analyze their own strengths and weaknesses, set personal and vocational goals, and have the self-esteem, confidence, motivation, and abilities to carry them out. We are a collaborative initiative that brings together young people of all backgrounds for mentorship, training, networking, and capacity building.

Volunteer will be engaged and assist in the activities of the project. Youth Leadership programs include activities such as:-
o Intercultural exchange
o Outdoor education
o organizing events, sports,
o intergenerational knowledge exchange
o work experience,
o public speaking
o Life skills development.
Konaklama ve Yemek
Accommodation will be at the host families located at the eco-village. Basic accommodation facilities like water, electricity and toilets will be available. Expect to share room with other volunteer or family member of the same gender. Food will be provided with the host family. Volunteers with special dietary requirements should inform us in advance for arrangement. Volunteers are expected not to be guest but part of the family, engaging and participate in house chaos and other social activities happening in the family.

Vigoa is an urban multicultural community located about 25km from Julius Nyerere International airport, Dar es Salaam and about the same distance from Dar es Salaam city Centre. A good number of social services are available including mobile phone signals, Police station, financial and shopping centers, etc. All this makes this community attractive and accessible for people to live, work and visit. The community is accessible through public and private transport systems. Location of Chamazi community provides access to many leisure activities. There is a sports complex, clubs and entertainment centers nearby. Been in this community you have also access to City tour, visiting museums and historical site, a day tour to Bongoyo Island, Swimming and water related relaxation in Bagamoyo or Zanzibar.
