Raise Awareness about VolunteerismDuring this work camp, you will help spread the word about how vital volunteerism is for social development. You will have the chance to give a presentation on volunteerism, explaining why it s critical for communities, especially in rural areas. Volunteers are often the backbone of many projects that aim to improve health, education, and the environment.Plan and Celebrate International Volunteer DayNext, you will play a key role in organizing the International Volunteer Day celebrations. You will work with a team of international and national volunteers to plan an unforgettable day full of meaningful activities.-Create Fun and Engaging Activities: You will plan exciting games, quizzes, and fun arts activities. These activities will highlight the role of volunteers and create a sense of community among all participants.-Celebrate with the Community: Organize local celebrations, such as performances, art exhibitions, and games that reflect the spirit of volunteering.Connect with Local and International VolunteersThis event brings together people from different cultures and backgrounds to celebrate the power of volunteering. You will work with local Nepalese volunteers and international volunteers who have traveled to Nepal to make a difference. Together, you will share stories, experiences, and ideas about how volunteerism has helped improve the world.
Konaklama ve Yemek
The volunteers will stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living facilities are simple and basic. Male and female volunteers will share the same living area with separate rooms. The volunteers sleep on simple beds/mattresses. Please bring your sleeping bag.
Konum ve Serbest Zaman
This exciting work camp will take place in 10-15 km from Kathmandu) a peaceful community in Tarakeshwor Municipality on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Surrounded by beautiful hills, fields, and woodlands, the site allows youth to connect with nature while you work.
