Art is a powerful and creative means ofexpression. It can bring about positive lifeenhancing change to you and the Nepalesepeople, both ways. As a volunteer or internyou will be given the unique opportunity toteach arts and crafts, of your choosing, andalso learn the trade through the artistic lens ofthe Nepalese people. Teach arts and crafts (drawing, painting, creating gift cards, music, dance) at yourplacement school.- Or/And learn/teach arts and crafts with local crafts people or localcommunity.
Konaklama ve Yemek
Volunteers stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living conditions at the host family/ hostel are simple and basic. Male and female volunteers will share the same living area but have separate sleeping rooms. The volunteers sleep on simple beds/mattresses. Please bring your sleeping bag. The food will be provided in Nepali standard i.e. dal Bhat (rice, lentil soup, vegetables, pickle, eggs).

VIN works in three different districts Kathmandu, Nuwakot, and Okhaldhunga are the three districts where VIN works. If you arrive early or wish to stay in Nepal after your volunteer period, VIN offers weekend travel tours to Chitwan Jungle Safari, Pokhara, and Nagarkot at reasonable prices.

Fee for four weeks volunteering is 550 Euro, then 85 Euro for each extra week. Placements out of Kathmandu Valley cost extra depending on travel distance.
