Concordia has been organizing international workcamps with the city of Clermont-Ferrand since 1993! The city has elaborated participative projects in cooperation with the local population. Every year, we come back to active neighbourhoods, where inhabitants created familial gardens and non-profit organizations developed their activities.
This workcamp offers you the chance to take part in the “Mon Été à Clermont” project, which is a rich and diverse program extended to all of the city’s districts. It offers animations, shows, concerts, to create sharing and convivial times.
Local young people will be able to take part in the work camp alongside you and help you discover their locality.

Get involved with the residents of Clermont-Ferrand to bring summer to life for families: children, teens, and parents!
As part of the “Mon Été à Clermont" project, you will be welcomed by the animation team of a Family Space on the site "Parc de la Muraille" in the heart of the city.
Parc de la Muraille will be inaugurated on July 4, and you will have the opportunity to participate in the summer activities at this venue! On the program: entertainment, artistic, cultural, and craft activities!
City activity leaders are already working on an educational program to bring this natural space in the city to life.
This is a unique experience to share activities, cultural events, and convivial moments in an intercultural and intergenerational setting.

You will be accompanied by two camp leaders throughout your stay.
The accommodation is located at the campsite “Pierre et Sources” in Volvic, in the midst Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, close to the Chaîne des Puys. Concordia provides individual tents for sleeping and a collective tent for socializing.
The group will be sharing the different tasks of collective life together. The budget will be allocated to the group leaders and you will participate in the preparation of meals, run errands from the market and local producers. Free WIFI at the campsite. Laundry will be hand-washed or in a washing machine from the campsite (for a fee).

Clermont-Ferrand is the lively capital of the Auvergne region. It is located in an exceptional volcanic area, at the foot of the Puy de Dôme volcano and the Chaîne des Puys which is listed as UNESCO World Heritage. During your stay, you will be able to enjoy the town's summery energy (shows, concerts, fireworks, etc.) and the countryside which is located right on its doorstep: hiking over the volcanoes, swimming in the lakes, etc.

The accommodation is located outside of the city of Clermont-Ferrand, in a little town in the countryside.
Bring work clothes, walking boots, a backpack and a swimming suit. Nights can be chilly, so bring warm clothes and a good sleeping bag. You can also bring recipes from your home country, musical instruments and games.
