In 1933, Heinrich Himmler opened one of the first Nazi concentration camps in Dachau. By the end of April 1945, over 206,000 people were imprisoned there, of whom over 41,500 did not survive hunger, forced labor, and violence.

As part of this youth meeting, the SCI volunteers take part in various workshops, trips, and eyewitness talks about the history of the Dachau concentration camp, National Socialism, and culture of remembrance, but also matters of current developments. This year’s focus topic is ''antisemitism''. In addition to the study part, there are also excursions, games, and parties.

In the Max Mannheimer House (youth guest house) in Dachau in four-bed-rooms; wheelchair-friendly rooms are available. It is possible to eat vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, or pork-free.
