The work in the brigade will take place outdoors. Mecki Hartung's art sculpture ‘Welcome to Europe’ will be installed, the fire pit will be renovated, and the barefoot path will be maintained. The work will mainly involve wood. Everyone will have the opportunity to learn how to use woodworking machines under supervision.

Directly in Heideruh in double or single rooms. Those who wish to can also sleep in tents. Tents and equipment can be provided.
Meals are mainly provided by the Heideruh kitchen/canteen, with the group cooking for themselves and the staff at times. The kitchen is primarily vegetarian and vegan. Heideruh also has a small bar where you can buy various drinks, sweets and snacks at reasonable prices.

Forest explorations, chess, table tennis, outdoor games, etc. on the grounds, bowling, climbing wall, Icelandic horse riding nearby, visits to the cities of Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover. A women's queer event in Hamburg will be attended.

Buchholz in der Nordheide railway station / Hamburg or Bremen Airport
Hamburg and Buchholz in der Nordheide are easily accessible by train from Germany and many other European countries. For those travelling from further afield, the airports in Hanover, Bremen and Hamburg are convenient to use. The nearest airport is in Hamburg. Trains run to Buchholz in der Nordheide from the main railway stations (20 minutes from Hamburg, 60 minutes from Bremen, 90 minutes from Hanover). The project partner will pick you up from the station in Buchholz. Arrival is possible from 23 August onwards, please let us know. Please avoid late arrivals!
