This project is organized and hosted by De Amicitia. De Amicitia is an environmental non governmental organisation that is funded in 1998 and actively working in the youth field and volunteering for many years. The main activity of the organisations is organising workcamps and local/ international youth projects in collaboration with the town halls and local associations.

Casa Jazmín is our headquarters and project hub dedicated to promoting community development through international volunteerism. The project creates direct synergies between participants and the local community of Sanet i Negrals, focusing on rural sustainability and social integration through hands-on cooperation with the Town Hall and local associations.
The work is dynamic and involves a flexible mix of tasks designed to support local needs. Volunteers will contribute to the upkeep of public spaces through gardening, painting, and renovation tasks. Additionally, participants will provide educational support at the local summer school, sharing languages and arts with local children, and engage in ecological farming initiatives and environmental volunteering, such as maintaining educational beehive panels or trail cleaning.
Based on the association’s priorities and the specific needs of the municipality, the project also includes a strong social component. Volunteers may participate in social visits to the elderly, charity events, and creative reflection workshops.
There are different Casa Jazmín camps running throughout the summer. Each group continues the work of the previous one, creating a collaborative effort where tasks may vary depending on what previous teams have completed. Volunteers should be ready for a hands-on, flexible, and multipurpose experience, excited to contribute to both the environment and the social fabric of the village.
Konaklama ve Yemek
The volunteers will stay in a volunteer house, with four rooms with several bunkbeds and 2 bathrooms. They will share rooms with four to six other volunteers. The house includes a nice kitchen in which the volunteers will cook for themselves in the guidance of the camp leaders.
You can either bring your own sheets or a sleeping bag. There are beds and pillows, sheets and pillow covers but it will be convenient that the volunteers bring their own. There is a washing machine available.
Konum ve Serbest Zaman
Sanet is a small town in the southwest of Spain close to Dénia (Valencian Community). It lays in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by hills which are great for hiking - there are a lot of hiking trails to discover. There is a local swimming pool available and Dénia is only 15 minutes by cars.
The house is located right in the middle of the village so there are great opportunities to interact and socialize with the locals and to truly experience the Spanish countryside.
Furthermore, the volunteers can make excursions to Ondara and El Vergel, local towns close to Sanet. The surrounding villages like Benimelli and Ràfol d'Almunia can also be visited. There will also be day trips (on free days) to the beach which is about 15 minutes by car from Sanet.
