The project “Child space” is an initiative to create and provide space for children to utilize well their school holidays. School holidays (Break) breaks do not mean break from activities, and engaging children in fun activities. Organizing activities for children from 2-14 years has been rewarding activity now over years. For two weeks children and volunteers from all over the world are expected to engage in different sports and games, exploring the nature, playing and learning in classes. In this way, the children can improve their skills even during the holidays and make up for any deficits in education with free extra tuition, but also have fun with their friends.

o Games: Indoor and outdoor games that will stimulate learning, team building and activeness. Local games will be introduced as well foreign ones from the volunteers. Please bring new games to share with Kids.
o Physical activities: Action jumping, Olympic Games etc. Gardening: Ornamental and vegetable planting, composting, garden tour etc.
o Nature activities: Bird watching, plant a tree, Tree feeder, learning about various plants, birds, animals, worms, and insects available in the area.
o Academic development: Holidays’ home works, various competitions aiming to motivate children’s academic development and get ready for the New Year studies
Konaklama ve Yemek
Accommodation will be at the community residential house. Basic accommodation facilities like water, electricity and toilets will be available. Rooms will be shared. Food will be provided at the project designated site. Volunteers with special dietary requirements are advised to provide information before arrival. Generally speaking volunteers are not expected to be guest but part of family engaging in all house chaos including food preparation.

Lolalash is an indigenous Maasai village in Longido District- Arusha in the North Tanzania. This community is located in an interesting spot geographically. In the south of the community about 0.5km is North Kilimanjaro Forest and Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. In the North about 1km is boarder of Tanzania and Kenya. Majority of village members are coming from community. Lolarash community offers a variety of cultural and natural attractions including forest, traditional way of living among many others. From the menu you may wish to choose:-
o Cultural & Eco-tourism around indigenous Maasai communities.
o Hiking – there is a possibility of hiking in Kilimanjaro Mountain’s nature forest.
o Wild-life safari – Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National parks.
o Mountain Climbing – Mount Kilimanjaro, Meru and others.
o Water side relaxation – Lake Chala, waterfalls etc.

o Once a volunteer is accepted an official invitation letter from us will be issued. Our staff will be available through out to provide support in the process of visa application. Take enough time to apply the since visa process can take long.
